CHARLOTTE – Jack Everett Ferreira, 83, of Charlotte, died January 13, 2021 at Pruitt Health Center in Monroe following an extended illness.

Jack was born in Charlotte on February 18, 1937, son of the late, Clarence Swanson Ferreira and Mildred McKnight Ferreira.  He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Geology. He was the former owner of Piedmont Fabrics and the President and CEO of Utility Concepts, Inc.  Jack was also a member of Providence United Methodist Church.

Jack is survived by his wife, Frances Stone Ferreira; sons, James Michael Ferreira and his wife, Patricia and Ronald Scott Ferreira and his wife, Audrey; daughters, Laura Ann McGee and her husband, Mark and Amy Lynn Brown; grandchildren, Max McGee and his wife, Emily, Ryan McGee and Alex and Hannah Ferreira; two sisters, Dona Ferreira and Angie Hoyle; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Providence United Methodist Church.
