Charles Robert Winter

It was with great sadness that I came across notice of Charlie's death. Sending heartfelt condolences to the whole family—as my mind races back two plus decades to lots of path crossings via ecac board connections and events. Donna, I still have a small book of daily wisdom sayings that you gave me ages and ages ago. it lives on a prominent shelf and sends me on my daily path along with a variety of other devotionals. May all who knew and loved Charlie find strength each day as you work through your grief. May you be open to the power of love on your path and may you find a steady, loving place as a legacy to Charlie's earthly days.

Dear Winter family. I am saddened to hear that Charlie is no longer with you. I was delighted to read that he is now with his Lord and Savior. I loved talking with him whenever he came to drop off or pick up Chris from events at Marion Diehl Recreation Center. What a kind, good humored, twinkly-eyed man. Much love to each of you.

Charlie was a loyal customer for many years and also a friend. The thing we will always remember about Charlie at Beaver Dam Auto Auction was his nickname---$50 more Charlie because no matter how much his cars were bringing he would always ask for $50 more. We all loved to argue with him and get a rise out of him just like he did with us. Rest in Peace because we will miss you and will argue with you again one day.
