I appreciate all of the information about C.D. Spangler, Jr. and all of his incredible accomplishments.
My father, Bill Spurrier, was the President of H&S Lumber Company. He and C.D. Spangler Sr. partnered in many construction projects in the early days of Charlotte neighborhoods just before and after World War II.
I have tried to access any online historical information about C.D. Spangler, Sr but can’t seem to find anything except information about his son’s history.

Could you please tell me if there is any site where I can access information about the life of C.D. Spangler, Sr.

He was a good man. I'll never forget the family reunions! Always wanted to be near him. Back when there was a Morrison's cafeteria at SP he would give me $20 to go the toy store! I knew I wanted to glean?
