Today, I'm sadden by the passing of , a beautiful woman, I had the privilege of taking care of at Aldersgate. I truly admired, Ms Canipe, how friendly, warm, compassionate, thoughtful, she was with others. I will miss the walks, we had , the laughs we had, I enjoyed being a caregiver to her and she will be missed extremely. My condolences to the family . I pray GOD gives you strength.

    Dear Kent and Jane,
I first knew your wonderful Mom when I had a “job”, mostly looking at things in the microscope, in my Dad and Uncle’s office where she was the nurse.
She was very kind and sensitive to my adolescent idiosyncrasies. Perhaps she noted that I had a lot of my Dad’s serious side and a lot of my Uncle’s love of fun and games. That dichotomy still afflicts me today. More recently, when I was raising money for the NC Outward Bound School, we renewed
our friendship. She was good enough to share her many interests which were so beautifully described in her obituary. I was not able to be with you at her service, which I feel sure was lovely. My fond hope is that some day I will cross paths with you two. Sincerely, Peter.
