Charlotte – Bernice B. Kras

Bernice B. Kras, 96, of Charlotte died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Southminster. Mrs. Kras was born in Terryville, Connecticut on January 13, 1921 to the late Albert Andrew Bycoski and Lottie Kalisz Bycoski. She was a long time resident of West Hartford and a faithful member of St. Timothy’s Catholic Church. In addition to her parents and her husband, Enos A. Kras, Mrs. Kras was preceded in death by her eleven brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Kras is survived by her daughter, June Donaruma, two granddaughters, Heather Poe and her husband, Warren, and Lindsay Nagele and her husband, Andrew; and four great-grandchildren, all of Charlotte.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with the Reverend Frank O’Rourke officiating. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Britain, Connecticut after Easter.
