Jack Charles Borns

In Loving Memory
Jack Charles Borns was welcomed into the world on April 13, 2026, arriving by emergency cesarean section at 30 weeks to the immediate love of his parents, Mark and Dani Borns. After four precious days, Jack passed peacefully on April 17, 2026, following the determination that his brain injury was unrecoverable. He was four days old.
In the brief span of his life, Jack was never without love. His days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) were filled with the constant presence and tender devotion of his parents, who remained faithfully by his side. During that time, Jack was visited by his beloved big brother, Cole (2), who had the gift of meeting him along with his grandparents and extended family. Everyone provided love, support, and prayers for a recovery.
Jack's medical team worked with tireless dedication on his behalf as he endured countless interventions and life support. He fought with a quiet and remarkable strength. Though every effort was made to restore him to health, the loss of oxygen that had caused his brain injury proved insurmountable. He passed surrounded by his parents and all four grandparents with love until his final breath.
The outpouring of support from family, friends, and the broader community in the wake of Jack's passing is a profound source of comfort. His parents and family hold deep and heartfelt gratitude for every prayer, kind word, and gesture of compassion extended to them during this time.
Jack's ashes are returned home, where he rests safely with family who loves him. Though his time on earth was measured in days, his presence has forever altered the hearts and lives of all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy not of years, but of love immeasurable and undiminished by time.
Life for a moment and love for a lifetime
