Lee Han Wing

CHARLOTTE - Lee Han Wing passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026, at age 96. He was born on December 12, 1929, to Lee Quon Suey and Joe Jung in Taishan, China. He married Faye Mark Wing in 1948, and they shared 78 wonderful years. He owned and operated Jung’s Laundry and Hong Kong East Restaurant. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Faye; their children, Richard (Brenda), Maylar (Brock), Steve (Mandy); his grandchildren, Alison (Don), Stevie and Sophia; and great grandchildren, Madison and Reese.

A funeral service will be held on May 2, 2026, at St. Francis Chapel, Myers Park United Methodist Church, 1501 Queens Road, Charlotte, NC 28207 at 2:00 PM.

    My office moved to downtown Charlotte in 1980, and I discovered Jung’s Cleaners and have continued to use their services since. What a great institution in Charlotte. Mr. Wing was a great merchant and always dependable to get my shirts and cleaning done perfectly and in a timely manner. He loved to garden and we typically shared many great stories about the pests that interfered, especially the rabbits and deer. He also recruited Steve too assist in the hard labor and after Mr. Wing’s retirement I would get periodic updates about the garden from Steve. To all of the Wing family, I am sincerely sorry for your loss and want to share my deepest condolences and sympathies for your loss. Rest in peace dear friend.
