Dear Eddie,
I am so sorry to hear about Carol’s passing. She was a wonderful friend to me in elementary school. I remember riding our bikes to Harper’s Five and Dime. I don’t know if you remember but I went to Europe with you and Carol after our high school graduation. Carol made sure I had a good time even though I only really knew her and Karen as I had moved away before junior high. Carol had a fun personality and was always welcoming. Please know I am thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

Carol was a joy to be around and gave her best to whatever she committed to, something clearly reflected in her academic success. I know she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
I’m especially grateful for the chance to reconnect with her on social media a year or so ago. That brief exchange meant a lot, and I’m thankful to have had that moment.
