Nathaniel (Nate) Louis Meyer
January 19, 2026
CHARLOTTE – Nathaniel (Nate) Louis Meyer passed away, surrounded by family, on Monday, January 19, 2026, in Charlotte, NC. He battled cancer with the same strength, courage, humor, and optimism that were his signature traits. (Not everyone could joke about the beautiful shape of their head following chemo-induced hair loss!)
Nate was born in Perry County, MO on July 8, 1979, the oldest of four. He attended Southeast Missouri State University, then earned his MBA from the University of San Francisco, where he had the honor of delivering the commencement speech. His wife, Angela, was by his side for this achievement and many more during their twenty-four years of marriage. During this time, they were blessed with two children whom Nate adored. He made sure to have special time with each of them and cherished their talks together. He also loved seeing them develop their talents, helping them grow however he could, including offering his expert coaching skills.
Nate took this same care with his colleagues at TCP Analytical and thrived on creating growth opportunities for so many members on his team. And though he held the title of President, no job was ever beneath him—he’d help where needed and made sure to connect with everyone on a first-name basis.
Nate attended St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Charlotte and loved to hit the road on his bicycle or spend some quiet moments fishing. And no matter where he lived in the country or how many times, they broke his heart, his undying support was reserved for the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues.
He was a force for good in this world, and his loved ones will continue to carry forward his light.
Nate is survived by his wife, Angela (Wodraska); daughter, Charlotte (15); son, Sam (13); parents, Ronald and Sharee (Moll) Meyer; brother, Michael; sisters, Angela Ettling and Elissa Chausse; dog Kona, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 3016 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC. A eulogy will be offered by the family prior to the service at 10:50 AM. The service will be livestreamed through the church website at: https://stgabrielchurch.org/livefunerals.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Families Forward Charlotte, P.O. Box 470436, Charlotte, NC 28247 or the Humane Society of Charlotte, 1348 Parker Dr, Charlotte, NC 28208.
Arrangements are in the care of Kenneth W. Poe Funeral & Cremation Service, 1321 Berkeley Ave., Charlotte, NC 28204; (704) 641-7606. Online condolences may be shared at www.kennethpoeservices.com.

Nate was one of the best leaders I’ve ever worked with. He also was a wonderful friend. He always went out of his way and helped any way he could. He made everything and everyone better around him 100% of the time. What I respected most about him is he was always kind, he had extremely high integrity and strived to always raise the bar and lift people in such encouraging ways. It was clear how much he adored his family because he talked about them all the time - I always loved that.
He will be missed so much by everyone who had the true blessing and privilege of having him in their lives! -
Very few people in this world give 110% to everything they do. Nate was one of these few. Nate was an amazing and kind man. He made sure he was encouraging to everyone he met and always pushed us to try and give 110% too. He was always full of encouragement, he always spoke his mind and had an incredible sense of humor. I will be forever grateful.
To Nate's family - thank you for sharing him with the world. He truly made it a better place each day! You are in our prayers. May you feel peace during this time. -
I worked with Nate for a few years. His passion and intelligence for the business were obvious. He could stop a conversation with his insight or his incredibly dry sense of humor. I can still picture that wry smirk when he wanted to drop something on you or if I walked into his office and told him something and he would raise 1 eyebrow sitting behind his desk. Never knew if that meant he was interested in what I was saying or if he thought it was crazy. His passion for baseball was exceeded only by his enthusiasm for his family. He was so excited when Sam started playing and he was so grateful when Angela and Charlotte indulged him by going to minor league games to see potential future MLB players. I remember Nate surprising me with his “foody” interests and he could discuss restaurants and food for wherever you were going. He made dinner for a sales meeting group that was very large, he was very talented. He contributed to advancing many people in their careers and supporting them when life threw them challenges. Angela, I wish I had words to comfort you in this time. What I can tell you is Nate texted me a couple of months ago and said, “Angela is my saint, she’s been my rock since Day 1, I couldn’t have gone through this without her”. He also told me before Thanksgiving that he was grateful for the extra time with family and that it was energizing him. I am fortunate to have spent time with Nate and appreciate everything he brought to life, his impact to those around him will be an enduring remembrance and I will miss him.

Nathaniel was a lover of food until the cancer took it away from him. Thought of him as a gourmet cook.
He definitely was a fighter against an unsurmountable battle. I always heard it said that they lost the battle against cancer but never really thought of it as a battle, until now.
Nathaniel took great care of our daughter and grandchildren, which i’m sure he will continue to do by his prayers. Likewise she took great care of him, when he needed her the most.
May he rest in peace with God❤️!
