Morgan Martin Rosser

June 25, 2025

Morgan Martin Rosser, 46, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, surrounded by family and dear friends.

Morgan was born on May 14, 1979, in Pensacola, FL, and was raised in Gulf Breeze, FL.  A 1997 graduate of Gulf Breeze High School, she served as co-captain of the cheerleading squad and was crowned by her peers as Miss Gulf Breeze High.  She went on to attend Auburn University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance.

During her time at Auburn, Morgan was an active member of Kappa Delta Sorority, serving as Rush Chairman, and an avid Auburn football fan.  She remained close with her KD sisters and cherished lifelong friendships with both her high school and college friends.

After college, Morgan moved toCharlotte, NC, where she began her career at Bank of America, serving in various roles over the years.  It was there she made cherished friendships and met the love of her life, Brent Rosser. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, deep friendships, travel, laughter, fishing trips, “backyard bashes” and their greatest joy of all—their daughters, Alan Ann and Amelia.

Morgan lived her 46 years with a vibrancy and fullness that most never reach in a lifetime.  Her bright blue eyes lit up any room she walked into and her presence was magnetic—warm, joyful and endlessly welcoming.  She was a devoted hands-on mother who poured her heart into her girls’ lives, actively volunteering at their schools and serving in multiple PTO leadership roles.

Morgan had a rare gift for making everyone feel special. Her kindness, hospitality and fun-loving spirit turned strangers into friends and friends into family.  Whether hosting a celebration or enjoying a quiet evening with loved ones, she brought joy, laughter and a gracious energy to every moment.

Morgan approached life with grace and quiet dignity, even in the face of challenges.  Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.  She shared an especially close bond with her beloved grandmother, Barbara.  The two were kindred spirits—connected by their love of fashion, lipstick, a fabulous cocktail, and a good time.

Morgan is survived by her husband, Brent Alan Rosser; daughters, Alan Ann and Amelia Leigh Rosser; parents, Michael G. Martin and Kay N. Martin; brother, John Michael Martin; and nephew, Peyton Michael Martin.  She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Annette Rosser Lang; stepfather-in-law, Robert Donald Lang; sisters-in-law, Angela Jeanette Rosser and Kymberly Ann Crosby; brother-in-law William Dudley Crosby, III; nephews Neal Carter and Fletcher Bond Crosby; niece June Comstock Crosby; and many special step-siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Thomas G. Nonnenmacher, Miriam Morgan Nonnenmacher, and her paternal grandparents John G. “Jake” Martin and Barbara Dyson Martin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Providence Methodist Church, 2810 Providence Road, Charlotte, 28211, with a reception to follow from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Quail Hollow Club, 3700 Gleneagles Road, Charlotte, 28210.  All who knew and loved Morgan are warmly invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Kappa Delta Foundation for the Morgan Martin Rosser Scholarship.  This scholarship will be awarded annually to a member of the Kappa Delta sorority at Auburn who best emulates Morgan’s qualities and values.  Donations can be made through https://tinyurl.com/2renx7w9 or mailed to Kappa Delta Foundation, 3205 Players Lane, Memphis, TN, 38125.  Please include “Morgan Martin Rosser Scholarship” in the memo line.

Morgan and I served on the preschool board together and she was always so fun to be with. Sweet, bubbly and so kind. I ran into her last year at a dive meet and even in the midst of all she was faced with she was still so sweet, bubbly and sweet. The world lost a bright light when it lost her. I am so sorry for her family, friends, and all that are grieving her loss.

This young woman was extraordinary. I remember a fall at one of our cheerleading competition I think it was Dallas. She was so trusting, loving and kind. Sparkling is what I thought of her eyes that matched her personality. I missed most of her adult life because she lived in Charlotte . I know she was a fabulous mom, wife, and friend. I will miss her here on earth but I am glad she is not in any pain. My true heartfelt condolences to her family, especially her husband and 2 sweet girls , her mother , father, brother and all extended family.
