PINEVILLE – Ruth Wood Finch Salvaggio, 81, formerly of Sun City, SC, and Memphis, TN, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Parker and Ruth Finch Sr., and her husband, Charles Salvaggio.

She is survived by her brother, Parker Finch Jr. (Sally) of Memphis; her goddaughter, Hannah Jacuzzi; and close friends Teresa Ward, Lucinda Maples, and Richard Green.

Donations may be made in her honor to Assistance League Charlotte, 5426 Old Pineville Road, Charlotte, NC 28217, where Ruth volunteered for many years.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Memphis, TN, at a later date.
