CHARLOTTE – Michael (Mike) Daniel Cochrane passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025.  He was born on July 10,1981 in Buffalo, NY to Gary and Paulette Burns Cochrane.

Mike grew up in Lockport, NY.  He had many friends and enjoyed camping, nature and music.  He had a charismatic, humorous personality!  Mike left an indelible mark on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.  Mike bid farewell to this world, leaving behind an infinite collection of memories that perfectly capture his vibrant nature.

Mike is survived by his father, Gary Cochrane and his wife, Amy Koester; mother, Paulette Cochrane; sisters, Allison (Pierce) Cochrane (Brian Kirkpatrick) and Caitlin Cochrane; nephews, SJ and Austin Pierce; step brothers, Mathew Schaffer and Mark Simpson and stepsister, Montana Dolly along with step nieces and nephews.  Also surviving are his fiancé, Erin Costello and her daughter, Riley; his uncle, Bob (Colleen) Cochrane; aunts, Nancy (Tony) Spatorico, Debbie (Dave) Truesdell, Judy (Dave) Wantuch, George Wilson along with many cousins from both sides.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Larry and Joan Cochrane and Gene and Mildred Burns; uncles, Howard and Gary Burns and aunts Pat Burns and Claudia Wilson.

The family invites you to join them for a celebration of Mike’s life from 12:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Willowbrook Golf Course, 4200 Lake Avenue, Lockport, NY.

As Michael loved hoodies and flannels please come dressed comfortably in a flannel or hoodie as we celebrate Michael.
