CHARLOTTE – Lisa Karen Lockhart passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.  

She was a lovely and caring woman, especially enjoying rescuing small animals and nursing them back to health. A graduate of South Mecklenburg High School, she studied marketing at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.  After college Lisa lived in Atlanta and California and worked with several Fortune 500 companies across the United States.

In 2019 she moved back to Charlotte because of her father’s ill health.  During COVID she decided to invest time and money in getting her real estate broker’s license.  After trying out other real estate firms, she settled on working with Keller Williams Real Estate in their multi-family division.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Sheila W. Evans, and her stepfather, James C. Evans of Charlotte; her brothers, Charles W. Lockhart of Waxhaw; Gregg M. Lockhart of Charlotte; two nephews, Joshua Lockhart and Ethan Lockhart; niece, Tessa Lockhart; and her stepmother, Donna Lockhart.  Her father, Charles W. Lockhart, predeceased her.

A private family service will be held in Florida.      

Memorials may be offered in memory of Lisa to the Women’s Shelter of Charlotte or to the charity of your choice.
