Sue was a good friend and fellow book club member for many years. I have not seen Sue in recent years but enjoy the memories of her warmth and friendship.

I loved Sue. We were on a music search committee together. Sue was so smart, poised and a great leader. One of the most attractive women I have ever known. Enjoyed being with her on Covenant womens retreats, at church and seeing her at The Towers. I will miss her beautiful smile. Will miss you Sue. You were one of the good ones.

What a terrible loss — and a double blow coming so soon after your father’s death. I often heard your mother singing on warm nights when the windows were open, and she was my go-to resource when I was in the midst of baking and discovered myself tjust shy of the needed amount of sugar or flour. How fortunate I was to have your parents for neighbors for so many years.

Dear Friends Pat David & Jim, I am so sorry to read of your mom’s passing this week. I’m so thankful she and your dad were good friends of my parents through church & choir & book club. I’ll always remember her friendly smile and gentle voice. I’ll keep you all in my prayers. Robert

Oh the memories—while she was in high school when Pierce dated her friend Ginger Puckett, her dad a geography prof at DC, eating at Little Italy Ristorante on Central, singing madrigals, cooking and eating Brunswick stew, sipping sheep dip…

Sending love to all the family. I fondly remember my conversations with Cousin Sue and visiting about our Oklahoma family and connections. She was well loved.
