    Dear Foy & Pam,

I just read of Gene's passing and wanted you to know how much your folks meant to me. Your Father and Mother were 2 of the kindest and most welcoming people and I'm so glad to have known them. I will always have the fondest memories of the holidays spent with Gene & Ella ?

My heart hurts that we have lost this wonderful gentleman and the best uncle a niece could ever have. What comforts me is to know that he is with the love of his life my Aunt Ella. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Gene was the most marvelous father and father in law to our great friends and neighbors Pam and Dom Raistano. We were even more fortunate to have Ella and Gene as neighbors at Rosewood. Their love and adoration for one another and their family was evident the moment you met them. It was a rare opportunity for us to befriend the couple who had enough love and energy for the generations of great individuals they brought into this world.
    They will be missed…
