Joel and family I am truly sorry and deeply saddened by the loss of your precious Julia. She and I were friends since we were in 2nd grade. We graduated from McClenaghan together and she was my maid of honor in my wedding. We lost touch but she has always been in my heart. May God bless you during this very difficult time.

We were good friends with Julie and Joel, when they lived in Greensboro. We met through our daughters, who were High School classmates. They each served in the other’s wedding. Julie was as warm and loving as any person could ever be. She had a cute laugh. Joel loved Julie up until the very end, attended to her throughout her various health concerns. He truly kept his marriage vow to Julie above and beyond anyone could expect. She was the love of his life and Life Partner. We kept up with them through Merritt, their daughter, as we were concerned about bothering her as she declined. As God as promised us, “ His House has many rooms”. I am sure he has a lovely one just for Julie, who can now rest in peace. We all will miss her and that warm engaging smile. God Bless Joel equally so, for his loving devotion!
