My father and I visited Chick-Fil-A often and were always very happy to be greeted by Chris. He definitely had a zest for life and a blessed spirit and we, too, will miss him.

Our family had the pleasure of Chris exuberant kindness and company over the 6 years we lived in the Charlotte area and ate at John’s almost weekly. Michael and I were thrilled to reconnect with him 3 years ago at his cousin’s shower & wedding celebrations After over 10 years, he rushed up to greet us and ask “how are the girls?” Chris was such a kind and gentle soul and his enthusiasm for life will be missed by many. He made a lasting impression on us as well as our girls who still remember him so fondly. We always looked forward to visiting with him on our regular visits to John’s restaurant. Our prayers are with his family.

I use to eat at John’s restaurant with my kids and a boy friend at the time, we ate there a lot! And every time we ate there, Chris always came around and said hello to us and would give a big smile!! And he would talk to us about football, the weather, or whatever. I also work at Skyland restaurant and a month or two ago, Chris came in with his family and he saw me and he said hey, hey and was waving again with that smile until I seen him. When I seen it was Chris, I went over and said hello and we hugged! He told me his parents were there, and then he asked if a cook was there and I said yes come inside the kitchen and see him. He followed me inside and spoke to everybody!! He was such a sweet, big hearted young man. I am thankful I got to meet him, and I won’t ever forget him. God bless you Chris, Rest in Paradise! My Mama is there, she will take care of you!
And to Mr John and Mrs Vicki, I am so very sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to you both!!! I am praying for you and your family!!! God bless you all and so much love!!! ??❤️

Chris was a light that could never go out! From our jokes about pranking my mom to planning out Halloween pranks. There was never a time where I wasn’t appreciative of the person Chris was. May his soul be at peace and his light continue to shine.

I did not know Chris well, but I definitely knew him as the smiling face and kind spirit he was from my weekly trips to Chick-fil-A. There was not a time that he was working that he was not pleasant and helpful. Only knowing him casually, my heart is broken in his passing. I cannot imagine the devastation that his family is feeling. God bless you all and may he give you strength during this terribly sad time. May peace find you and be with you.
