My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time. I admired Phil's energy and great love for the Lord, and his dear family. His love for
Ruth was obvious to everyone....beautiful. What a dynamite couple they made! I remember when the Hammond family first moved onto Meadowbrook Road and I thought
it super cool to have a 'Brady Bunch' like family on our street. Brenda and I made friends immediately allowing me to get to know the entire Hammond family well.
Phil's Christian influence was so nice to witness and I don't think he ever missed going to church on Sunday. I am grateful to the Hammond family for
inviting me ,as a guest, to the Metropolitan Chapel for it lead to my salvation.
