My mother, Mary Francis Sutton Sinclair, was very close with Betty Ann and Syd since college days. When we were young, we always received the sweetest Christmas gifts from Betty Ann and Syd. I have kept in touch with her over the years, even after Syd and my mother passed away. Betty Ann was always so grateful for a phone call, a card and especially some chocolate! She was kind, beautiful and so sweet and will be sorely missed. I’m so sorry that this message is so late, but I didn’t know until yesterday when my sister, Anne let me know.

To the family...our family is so sad to hear this news. Our parents, Jim and Becky Allison, were lifelong friends of Betty Ann and Syd. As children and on into adulthood we enjoyed seeing Mr. and Mrs. Alverson at the monthly bridge game. Once they all moved to Sharon Towers we enjoyed frequent visits. Betty Ann was a good friend to our Mom and so kind to all of us. We will miss her gentle but strong spirit.
