Dear Ansley, Walt, Bill, Susan and families - sending my condolences from NY. I first met Nell in the early 1980’s when she and Jeff were at Cunlinary Institute and I was teaching in the area. Of course, I had known Jeff since elementary school and I knew right away that Nell was a perfect mate for him. We loved her right away and always enjoyed our visits to NC and their hospitality. When Jeff died, I wrote a song for him and sent it to her. I have included a link here and I hope it brings you comfort. Now when I perform it, I will be thinking of both of them together again.
