Judy is an amazing example for so many of us. She blessed so many of us with good cheer, a kind word, and listening ear. Peace be with you, thank you for your kind example.

Judy was a UNC and Salvation Army friend. We lived in Spencer dorm our freshman year and later spent time serving at The Salvation Army. She was one of the recipients of the Catherine Booth Award last year given by the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary. I knew Judy was ill, but we touched base frequently enough that we shared many memories. I am so sorry and sad that I will not see her again. Blessings to her family and especially Richard who I know misses her.

    Richard and family,

Judy and I were in the same class at UNC and took several classes together. She was a delight to know and the object of many of her male classmates’ intentions. But Richard was way ahead of them in her heart.

I am sad to hear this news but happy that I can share the memories of those days in Chapel Hill when we were all so young.

Sending so much love to her adoring family. Thank you for allowing me to spend those precious moments with Judy.
