To the family, I pray that you will gather together in memory of Pete and celebrate the great life he lived. He was a good man and kind soul to friends. Always pleasant with me, we had some of the most "hearty" chats about people and work life. I too am in the business, so we had a very tight bond! I would make special trips to his restaurant during slow times just to catch up with him. Pete will be dearly missed and hate I did not get a chance to say goodbye. There was only 1 as we friends refer to as "Greek Pete". Nick, you are the son of a great man, make him proud of your achievements!! You are a great yound man. Be strong for your mother, provide her much comfort, call her often!! JOanna my dear we only met twice, but he was lucky to have you!!! May god bring peace to the whole family in this very hard and trying time. You know Pete, he would say "what the Eff are you crying about". One of a kind man and my friend!!

I met Pete in 1986 at Green's. While we struggled understanding one another at first, a handshake and smile went a long way in forging a friendship. Over the years (and many hotdogs), we became good friends. Pete was a hard worker, a fair and decent man, always quick to share a laugh and always interested in how others were doing. He loved life, he loved his family, and he loved his friends. As it was following the passing of Mr. Katopodis, Green's will not be the same. I shall miss my friend and his smile behind the register. Pete will be forever remembered and forever missed. I pray for the Lord's blessing of peace and comfort for Joanna and the family.

So sorry to read about Pete. Great guy. Photo captures him perfectly. He helped me many times at Greens. ALWAYS upbeat and positive. Always a joy to go to Greens—-for the dogs, but also the atmosphere. Will miss him. Rest in peace.
