My love and sympathy goes out to Nancy Broome Lucas, my lifelong friend, in the loss of her son Stephen. Also to his daughter Jessie and other family members. Nancy and I have been friends since childhood and she is so saddened in the loss of her child. May our Lord Jesus give her the peace of knowing that Stephen is with Him now and also with his Dad, John. My love and prayers are with them all every day.

Nancy, Carol and Jessie I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was a friend of mine for over 30 years. Last year during some of my darker days post quintuple by-pass surgery Steve was faithful to call and check on me. I will always have fond memories of those conversations. Steve was a brother in Christ and I am thankful that one day we will all be reunited. May God's comfort and peace be with each of you.
