CHARLOTTE – Theresa (Terry) Helene Andrews, 91, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in the Harris Hospice unit on Thursday, September 1, 2022. 

Terry was born on September 22, 1930, in Port Chester, NY to the late Anthony and Josephine Gasparini.  After high school, she moved to Miami, FL in 1953, where she met the love of her life and husband of 65 years, Dwain, who preceded her in death.

Terry was a loving stay-at-home Mom, who enjoyed extracurricular activities such as sewing and oil painting, of which she became quite accomplished. Once her daughters were older, she began a twelve-year career in real estate sales.  After a job relocation with Dwain to Washington, DC, she served as a volunteer with multiple political organizations centering on White House activities.

Terry is survived by her two daughters, Judy Lynn Andrews of Eden Prairie, MN and Gail Andrews Landers and her husband, Mark of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren, Emily Elmer and her husband, Timothy, Sarah Halverson and her husband, Ian, Jonathan Petraitis, Meredith Landers, and Jenna Landers.  Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Harvey, Arthur, and Penelope Elmer, and Donovan Halverson, and her sister, Geraldine Deptula.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Matilda Kulick and Marie Kulick.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Christ Episcopal Church in Charlotte with the Reverend Lisa Saunders officiating.  The service will be livestreamed at: www.christchurchcharlotte.org/funeral-live-broadcast/ for those unable to attend in person.  The family will receive friends following the service at the church.  A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Whitehead Joines Cemetery in Sparta, NC.
