Marvin Allan Sensabaugh, husband, father, brother, and uncle passed away May 5th, 2022. Son of the late Linda and David Sensabaugh, Marvin was born November 9, 1970, in Staunton, VA and attended the University of Virginia, where he graduated second in his class in the School of Commerce. Following graduation, Marvin met Marybeth and they subsequently moved to Charlotte NC, where he pursued a career in Real Estate Finance.

Marvin had an extensive interest of history, including that of his home state of Virginia. He was also an avid fan of Virginia Cavaliers football and basketball. U-V-A! Go Hoos Go!

Marvin is survived by his wife, MaryBeth Sensabaugh and his three sons Matthew, Michael and Marshall Sensabaugh. He is also survived by his sister Renee Ross and her family of Staunton VA.

A memorial service honoring Marvin will take place at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 1000 E. Morehead St Charlotte NC 28204.

Interment will be later this week in Staunton VA.

    I am deeply saddened to learn of Marvin’s passing when I opened my Sunday Observer yesterday when I first learned the news. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your sons. I’ve come to know Marvin through my visits to Ed’s and the Comet Grill.
