My sincere condolences to Mr Greene,s family . I remember him as good and humble man. Every time I showed up to pick up my son at the Learning Center where he was volunteering, he walked to me and engaged a conversation about my son . We talked and laughed together many times. I will always remember his devotion to help and kindness. May his soul Rest In Peace . We will miss you Mr Greene.

    Dear Bettie
I just wanted to send along a lot of love and my sympathy to you and your family. I have memories of Don and Jerry's discussions during the Calvary construction days, and i enjoyed having William in our grade 2 Sunday School class there - (his first day in class when i asked him his name he answered "King William". Do take care.

My deepest sympathies to Bettie, Todd, Rob, Gigi, Stephanie and William. I wish I’d had an opportunity to get to know Jerry better, but appreciated his openness about his lung disease, admired his devotion to Bettie, and loved knowing he was a volunteer mentor and tutor. He clearly was a source of joy and encouragement to many people.

I am so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing and of his struggle with lung disease. I am truly grateful to Jerry for giving me an opportunity to work with him at Green, Smith & Crockett when my husband and I first moved to Charlotte in 1985. His generosity enabled me to get a foothold in the Charlotte market research community, which afforded me many great opportunities over the years, ultimately resulting in Voccii, my own research company. My husband also remembers his welcoming and helpful guidance when he was first getting started in the insurance business -- Jerry invited him to breakfast and gave him valuable tips that served him well through a 32-year career with Allstate.
Needless to say, Jerry has touched so many lives, and we have been blessed by his brief time in, and impact on, our lives. I can still remember that big smile and hearty laugh. He will be truly missed, but I know for certain his legacy will live on.
My prayers are with you as you celebrate his live and mourn the passing of a wonderful man.
    In sympathy,
    Gayle Ireland

Being mentored by Jerry Green was such a privilege. Three major crossroads in my life were steered in the right direction by Jerry’s willingness to listen to the Holy Spirit, and to ask the hard questions and comments that I didn’t want to hear but so badly needed.
I will miss his mentorship but more important his friendship. We will see each other again! ❤️❤️

Jerry was my dad’s best friend and part of my life before I was born. I have so many great memories of him and spending time with his family growing up. He was always in the background and I knew I could always count on him if I needed him. He was part of my family and will be greatly missed. Sending my condolences to Bettie, Todd, Robert, and GiGi. Love you, Jerry, and may you Rest In Peace.

I knew and loved Jerry. Such a fine Christian man who loved everyone. I had the pleasure of being in a Sunday School class that he and Betty taught. He will be greatly missed.
