Louise Shelton

Louise Shelton, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Mrs. Shelton was born in Rockingham County on May 4, 1934. She was the daughter of Frank Oscar and Ruth Maude Vernon Edwards.

Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Wesley Shelton. She is survived by her son, Tim Shelton and his wife, Adrienne; two grandchildren, John Charles Shelton and Marisa Louise Shelton. Also surviving are two sisters, Janice and Virginia and many nieces and nephews. She will be especially missed by Tammy Truitt, who was like a daughter to her.

A graveside service to celebrate Louise’s life will be held 1:00 pm Sunday afternoon, August 15th, 2021, at Ridge-View Cemetery 1658 NC-135, Eden, NC 27288.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be offered to Victory by Grace Baptist Church, 749 Morgan Road, Eden, NC 27288.
