CHARLOTTE – Lina Haden Cunningham, age 106, residing at The Cypress of Charlotte, passed away peacefully from natural causes on Sunday, July 6, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina.  She was born June 28, 1919 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to Dussie Dendy Haden and John William Fendle Alonzo Haden.

Lina attended Whitworth College in Mississippi.  She was happily married to Robert Lightfoot Cunningham until his death.  Lina and Bob Cunningham were the founders and owners of Cunningham Cleaners in Charlotte.  They were long time members of Covenant Presbyterian Church and Carmel Country Club. 

Lina he is survived by her son, Robert L.Cunningham Jr. of New York City, and numerous nieces and nephews and close friends.  She was predeceased by her husband, parents and sister, Emma Davis.
