CHARLOTTE - Carolyn Rebecca Miller Ledford, 87, died June 29, 2025, at CMC-Main after an accidental fall. A sweeter, kinder soul never lived, and all those who loved her will feel her absence.

Carolyn was born in Charlotte on March 24, 1938, to John and Eula Miller, and married her sweetheart, Ronald Ledford, in 1961. The two of them were inseparable up until his death in 2020. Today, we can take comfort in the fact that they are once again doing everything together.

Carolyn worked at Southern Bell for over 30 years. She and Ronald enjoyed traveling, square dancing, dining out, shopping, and volunteering countless hours at Sharon Presbyterian Church, where Carolyn was a lifelong member.

Carolyn leaves behind many, many friends who will all remember her for her huge heart and beautiful smile.

She also leaves behind sister-in-law, Patti Stanford, and cousin, Susan Mathers, along with their families.

Funeral services will be at 11 am on Saturday, July 5 at Sharon Presbyterian Church in the Chapel with interment in the cemetery immediately following, and a small reception in the Chapel.
