While living in Mount Vernon, New York, Barbara was a committed member of Greater Centennial AME Zion Church under the leadership of Pastor Daren Moore where she gave her life to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Upon relocating to Matthews, North Carolina she became a devoted member of Central Church under the leadership of Pastor Loran Livingston. She served as a greeter for the church on Sunday mornings and took great delight in greeting at the Nursery. She would often comment that she loved seeing families, especially the little ones.
Barbara’s greatest accomplishments we believe she would say are her children and giving her life to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
