CHARLOTTE – Long time Charlotte resident, Cecil H. (Sonny) Blair, died Monday, July 18, 2022 with complications from COPD at Atrium Main Hospital.

Cecil was a funny, free spirited, outspoken, and kind-hearted man.  He was a third generation Floridian from Miami who proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  Cecil had many varied interests in his life.  He was a model maker in furniture design and a certified gunsmith.  Cecil loved his pets and was an avid gardener.  He joyed in relationships with his fellow man and was a bright light on this earth. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. 

Cecil is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Reynolds Blair; daughter, Tiffany Blair Boyd DMD; siblings, David Blair, Robin Fine Schutt and her husband, Louis, Virginia Rae Blair Castellano, Patricia Blair Shelton and her husband, Joaquin and Charlotte Blair.  Also surviving is his aunt, Evelyn Herrin.

Cecil will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
