CHARLOTTE – Pamela Crenshaw Howard, 74. died February 23, 2024 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. A Charlotte native, she was born on January 27, 1950, daughter of Marshall Crenshaw and Estelle Love Crenshaw. Pamela graduated from Garinger High School and enjoyed a career as a medical secretary.

In addition to spending time with her family, Pamela enjoyed puzzles, bingo, reading, hummingbird watching and relaxing at home. She loved eating gulf shrimp on trips to Ft. Myers Beach, FL and particularly enjoyed a 4:00 O’clock glass of wine.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Marshall Van Crenshaw, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen E. Howard; son, Charles “Chip” Crockett; stepchildren, Michelle Howard Marshall, Mark Howard and Jill Howard Jacobs; and five grandchildren.

Services will be private.
