Kenneth Poe Funeral Services

CHARLOTTE – Victoria Perkins Hammer, 64, passed away at Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.  She was born in Charlotte, NC on September 23, 1958, daughter of Skip Perkins and Linda Womble Perkins.

Victoria graduated from Independence High School and attended CPCC.  She lived in both Texas and Charlotte.  Victoria held various jobs throughout her life including working in a dentist office, metal shop, as a security officer, and a freight carrier. 

Victoria met her husband, Eric Andrew Hammer at a pool party.  She loved to play video games, miniature golf, pinball, and bowling.  She also loved her pets, Coco, Chubby, and Keelow.  Victoria enjoyed helping her friends when the need arose.

Victoria is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Eric; brother, Michael Perkins; nieces, Madison Perkins Hancock and Gracy Perkins.  Also surviving are her friends, Mark Walters, Belinda Troutman and Nancy Funderburk.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Donny.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Myers Park United Methodist Church, Charlotte, NC.  The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the church.
