Delores Green Clark

Delores Green Clark, 93, of Charlotte died May 6, 2023 at Novant Health Matthews. She was born in Charlotte on March 19, 1930 to Charles Smith Green Jr. and Lois Ledford Green. Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Clark who she married at First Baptist Church Charlotte where she was a lifelong member. A wonderful homemaker, Delores was known for her exquisite knitting and her extravagant sweaters.
Delores is survived by her five children, Theresa Clark of Matthews, Tim Clark and his wife, Martha Jane of Monroe, NC, Bonnie Moen and her husband, Gary of St. Augustine, FL, Angela Plonk and her husband, Rick of Dallas, NC and Trip Clark and his wife, Donna of Lincolnton, NC; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends before the service. The interment will be in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.

We are so so sad to hear of Delores' passing. We have such fond memories of the times we shared as neighbors, "back in the day." Our prayers are with each of you and your families in the days to come. Peace and comfort to all.
