CHARLOTTE – Theresa (Tere) Stokes Argo left this physical existence on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from Asbury Health & Rehabilitation Center at Aldersgate.

Tere served as a Registered Nurse for many years in Pediatrics.  She was Head Nurse of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Charlotte Memorial Hospital.  Tere left hospital nursing to enter home health care serving as a visiting nurse, Head of Professional Services, and finished her career in Quality Assurance.

Tere is survived by her husband, Steve Argo of Charlotte; her sons, Rick Argo and his wife, Michele, of Ft. Mill, SC, and their children, Nate and Eva, and Jason Argo of Wilmington, NC, and his son, Jaylan and Jaylan's mother, Onna Jaruchat.  She was predeceased by her parents, William (Bill) Stokes and Mary Sue Rea Stokes, and a sister, Sue Stokes Iman.

A Celebration of Life for Tere will be held at Noon on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Providence Presbyterian Church, 10140 Providence Church Lane, Charlotte, NC.
