Ann Ellison Finger

Ann Ellison Finger died at her childhood home in Charlotte, NC. Born November 21, 1948, Ann was the loving daughter of Barnard H. Finger and Avanelle K. Freeman Finger. Ann graduated from Garinger High School in 1967. After high school, she worked for many years at Piedmont Natural Gas, excelling as a customer service representative.

Ann loved her home, listening to music, and doting on her cats. She loved puzzles and playing games. She loved Christmas and giving away presents. But more than anything, she loved being an aunt to first Kathryn and Wesley, and later to Hannah and Jacob.

Ann leaves behind her sister-in-law, Linda M. Finger; her niece, Kathryn E. Finger (Eric VanNewkirk) of Charlotte; her nephew, Wesley P. Finger (Rachel Rose) of Atlanta; and her grand-niece Hannah Rose Finger and her grand-nephew Jacob Kendrick Finger of Atlanta, GA.

A memorial will be held on December 23rd at 11:00 am, in Elmwood Cemetery.

    So sorry to hear about Ann's death. I remember her from Mrs. Hamilton's Geometry class at Garinger. I was a sophomore, and she was a senior. My deepesy sympathy goes out to her family.
