I wanted to take the time to just share how truly saddened I am to find out the passing of Wil....YEARS after the event. I worked with Wil in an Executive Assistant role off and on helping in his business and when I started remote work from home due to new job, I never really heard from him again. In looking at timeline I started 100% remote work first of October 2019 and my last communication with him was just after Labor Day 2019. He would always come to my office location and during my lunch hour I would discuss with him his asks of me and his requests needed for his recruits. My new job started and new role and BAM all things unraveled in 2020. I am devastated by learning of his passing in doing a Google Search of my own. I knew of his health issues with COPD or something similar and we always had talks of each others health and well being. Today my gutt won and I had to find out.... and like a true wave of frozen cold water hitting me squarely in the face....I am DEVASTTED to learn this news. This pandemic has changed us all. I am speechless and in tears to see this news and quite honestly beyond saddened to know I was part of his life not only as a business partner, but a true friend. We had many many dinners and coffees and drinks all over Charlotte and I owe alot to him for allowing me those new places of discovery. I attended several events at Myers Park Baptist to show him my support and just be there as a friendly face in the crowd. This has truly made an impact on me. His words of professional advice as well as personal advice is cherished beyond comprehension. I hope everyone if you take the time to read this far simply takes the time to stay in touch with people that have touched you. I wish i could have been at his service. I wish I could have helped in some way. I wish for so many "what ifs"....so now is the time to just remind myself and others to TAKE THE TIME to LIVE YOUR LIFE and BE CLOSE to those around you that make/made a difference. A truly good Godly man, forever missed. Hug Longer, Make those phone calls, schedule those coffee dates, Love Deeper. Wil, you are missed more than you know. Rest my dear friend.

It is hard to find out from my family members who just found out late last night that a friend has passed away almost six months ago. The person who found out was just by trying to reach Will to wish him a Happy Birthday on the 27th of March. Not only that but Will was his oldest son Godfather. We all grew up together in Stamford, CT and Wil had plenty of friends that still don't know he has passed on. Sad. Good brother, good times and not knowing in time is hard. I live in NC and if I would have known when he passed would have been at his service.
People don't be a ghost to people you grew up with. Nothing changes true friends. Stay in touch.

    Will,
We were so sadden to lose our neighbor, Will. He would always stop and speak as he rode down the street or in the grocery store. Going to miss him but hope he is celebrating in heaven

I knew Wil years ago as a business associate but lost touch after I retired and sold my business. I am saddened to learn of his passing but trust he is celebrating in Heaven and singing with the angels with his beautiful baritone voice. Rest in Peace, Wil.
