Carol, I regret that we can't be with you today, but please know that you and your family have been and are in our prayers. You and Mike had something very special I could always see it in your eyes. That will never leave you.
Know that God is with you through this. I saw this message today about Jesus and the disciples on the water during a storm. " He spoke to them and said, “Don’t be afraid” (Mark 6:50b, NIV) and He climbed into the boat with them." He’s saying the same thing to all of us as we face our issues, He’s climbing in to be right there with us and with His presence comes peace.

Words truly cannot describe the generous and loving heart of Mike! He poured his soul into service to others—-our homeless neighbors, underprivileged youth who need someone to believe in them, his church family who loves him dearly and his precious wife for whom his love was obvious in the way he outwardly (and inwardly) cherished her. He is so very missed! I know that he is joyfully and peacefully resting in the arms of Jesus??

Dear Carol, James, Wes and Chelsea,
Your loss of Mike happened so suddenly and too soon. Though we only spent a brief time together, I thought he was a fine gentleman, friend and mentor. I was pleased that you had him to share life with. May God hold you close in this time of need. I send sympathy and love to each of you. Aunt Bettie
