Kent William Ramon

Kent W. Ramon, 70, of Sandy, Utah, passed away on March 6, 2017, in Charlotte, North Carolina, surrounded by his family. The son of the late Bill and Peggy Droege Ramon he was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, on May 12, 1946. And was married to Anne Trumble Ramon for 50 years.  

Kent graduated from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy, was a U of U football player, team captain and devoted Utah fan. GO UTES!

Kent is survived by wife, Anne; son Lonnie and wife, Kim of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter Amber and husband, John Tsumas of Charlotte, North Carolina; and five grandchildren: William, John Kent, Elizabeth, Alex and Nick.

The family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date.

    So sorry for the loss of Kent. Always enjoyed Ute football with Kent, except when he made me sit on the Wyoming section at the U of U, and I tried to root for the Utes. He was a great guy, and will always remember our camping trips, with the families. What a tough loss for such a wonderful family. My best to Anne, Lonnie, and Amber.
