Forever in Our Hearts”

Charlotte Lynn Gray, infant daughter of Elizabeth and Jeremy Gray, went to her heavenly home on January 8, 2017.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017, 11 AM, at Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 5201 Sharon Road, Charlotte, NC.

Charlotte leaves behind her brothers, Jackson Gray and Eli Gray; maternal grandparents, Carla and David Scott; paternal grandparents, Beth and Kelly Gray; and uncles, Justin Gray, Jacob Gray, and Evan Scott.

It's time to say goodbye and we don't understand why today is the day we lay our little girl to rest we’re here to say goodbye and give comfort to each other.

Though we say goodbye forever in our hearts her spirit lies. If she could talk I know she'd say Mommy, Daddy please don't cry for I’m not gone I’m flying high I’m that brand new twinkle in the sky.

I know one day I'll see you again and until then hold your heads up high. Just remember I’m standing by for I’m the light of the moon and the sunlight in the sky.

So please be strong and till we're together again love your little ‘Charlotte Lynn’.

    Dear Gray family,
I was looking to find the obituary for my father-in-law and ran across this one for Charlotte. While I do not know your family, I grieve with you as a mother who has lost a child. The sadness of hopes and dreams unfulfilled is deeper than most can grasp. I am truly sorry that little Charlotte is not with you. I hope you will take all the time you need to hold her close. I hope that the weight of your empty arms begins to lift. I hope you find peace in your time.

    Jeremy and Family,
My deepest sympathies to all of you. There are no words that can seem adequate enough for what your family is dealing with. The loss of a child has to be one of the hardest things to have happen to you. Please know you are all being prayed for. If there is anything myself or your coworkers at American Airlines can do for you, Jeremy, please reach out. May you one day find peace and understanding. Love, thoughts and prayers are bedbug sent your way.
    Love,
    Michelle Plavocos
