I am saddened to hear of the passing of another of the great associates my father, John Underwood, knew and respected at Mitchell Distributing Company. There were many wonderful people, Rom Sparks, Mr. Piercy, etc. but my father had a special fondness for the down to earth wisdom and friendliness of Fred. It was a good company and a fantastic place to work. I fear there are not many left that remember.
