Melissa Page Callender, 57, of Charlotte passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016.

Page was born in Greensboro, NC, on November 11, 1958, to Cam Leach and the late Ken Callender. She graduated from Grimsley High School and attended UNC Greensboro and Guilford Technical Community College.

She was beloved by her family, friends, and her caregiving co-workers. She especially loved the children and families she served at Myers Park United Methodist Church. Page was a catechumen at Saint Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church.

Page is survived by her parents, Cam and Duane Leach, of Southport, NC; her sisters, Karen Trogdon Kluever, of Louisville, KY hand Susan Trogdon Gleason, of Fries, VA. She is also survived by a niece and three nephews.

The family will receive friends in the Frances Chapel at Myers Park United Methodist Church from 6:30-8:00 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday at Saint Basil the Great Orthodox Church Cemetery, Wilmington, NC
