William Harry Michel of Charlotte aged 73, died Wednesday, July 13 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center from a stroke. He was a loving husband, a caring father, a silly grandfather, an inspiring teacher, a dedicated Marine, and a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. A Service of Thanksgiving and Resurrection Celebrating the Life of Bill Michel will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 18 at Providence United Methodist Church, 2810 Providence Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28211. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Providence United Methodist Church, 2810 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28211, or Angels & Sparrows Soup Kitchen, 514 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.
